SOFT HONEY COOKIES
These old-fashioned honey cookies have a subtle honey-cinnamon flavor and a tender texture. This recipe has been a favorite in my family for years and now it can be one at your house, too. -Rochelle Friedman, Brooklyn, New York

HONEY DROP COOKIES
This is an old photocopied recipe that looks like it originated in Hamilton, Indiana. I found it on the same photocopied page as "Grandmother's Soft Sugar Cookies". The recipe is attributed to Orpha Walber. I've never made it before as I didn't know what raisin juice was until I recently searched the web for it... Recipe #311410 courtesy of Montana Heart Song should do the trick. I have no idea on recipe yield... and as for how long it should be baked... you're guess is as good as mine....I'm really just posting this recipe for history's sake.

HONEY DROPS
Mace and honey team up for an unusual, terrific flavor twosome in this recipe. These cookies taste best if you give them about a week in the cookie jar to mellow.

ORANGE-HONEY DROP COOKIES
Found this gem in Cooking Light magazine. This makes a nice cookie for a Christmas tray, an Easter basket or a summer picnic basket. The flavors are unique and light and you won't want to miss out on the icing as that takes the cookie over the top. Feel free to swap the orange juice and orange rind out with lemon for another great treat. I've done it both ways but my family loves the orange ones better as it is just a bit unique.
