CLASSIC GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 F/177 C/Gas 4.
- Mix the soup, milk, and pepper in a buttered 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish.
- Add the green beans and 2/3 cup of the French-fried onions.
- Stir the mixture together.
- Bake the casserole for about 25 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.
- Top with the remaining 2/3 cup of fried onions and bake about 5 more minutes or until the onions are lightly browned. Serve and enjoy!

HOLIDAY GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
This recipe is one of my mother's regular holiday offerings (Thanksgiving and Christmas). It's suprisingly easy. And it's a good way to get kids to eat cottage cheese. (I personally don't like cottage cheese by itself, but it really makes this dish.)

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Saute onion & garlic in butter until soft and glossy.
- Add the cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, and bread crumbs.
- Add the eggs and beans.
- Pour the beans mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Bake at 350 F for 30-45 minutes.
- When done, casserole should be firm to the touch and lightly browned on top.

- In a bowl, combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper. Gently stir in beans. Spoon half of the mixture into a 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the onions. Spoon remaining bean mixture over the top. Sprinkle with remaining onions., Bake at 350° until heated through and onions are brown and crispy, 30-35 minutes.
