This healthy brownie in a mug has roughly 100 calories but is super delicious. Perfect guilt free dessert or snack!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 tablespoon flour (Use Whole Wheat or other flour for healthier alternative)
1 tablespoon sugar (Do not Substitute)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 pinch baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 -2 tablespoon low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 -3 tablespoon chocolate chips (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a mug.
  • Mix in 1 Tablespoon of Yogurt. If too thick, add 1 more Tablespoon and mix until you get a brownie batter consistency.
  • Mix in desired amount of your favorite chocolate chips (use semi-seeet or dark chocolate for a bit of a healthier alternative) this step is optional! If you have a different toppings you like to put in your brownies, add it now.
  • Microwave for 1:10 Seconds. All microwaves are different, so time may vary.
  • Sprinkle some more chocolate chips (or other topping) on top. (Optional).
  • Let cool for 1-3 Minutes.
  • Enjoy!

2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons water or 2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons whole wheat flour (1/4 cup instead) or 4 tablespoons flour (1/4 cup instead)

Steps:

  • In a microwave safe mug, add water/milk, coconut oil, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract. Whisk well.
  • Add cocoa powder, whisk well. Add sugar, whisk well. Add whole wheat/regular flour, and whisk well.
  • Microwave for 60 seconds. The center should be slightly soft. DO NOT OVERCOOK or the brownie will become hard and stiff.
  • Enjoy with a spoon. Careful, the brownie will still be hot.

Steps:

  • Whisk together sugar, flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt in a microwave-safe mug.
  • Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla and mix well with a spatula, making sure the dry ingredients at the bottom get incorporated.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute. Brownie will still be moist in the middle. If brownie appears too fudgy, microwave for another 30 seconds until desired consistency is reached. Do not microwave for more than 2 minutes total. The longer you cook it, the more cake-like the brownie becomes.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before eating, if you can wait that long!
