1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Serve with ham.

1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 10 pounds)
GLAZE:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1 cup cherry or cranberry juice
SAUCE:
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups unsweetened apple juice
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) pitted tart cherries, drained
12 to 16 drops red food coloring, optional

Steps:

  • Place ham on a rack in large roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 3 hours., In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch and mustard. Stir in cherry juice until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Spoon over ham. Bake 20-30 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 140°. Remove from the oven; keep warm. , For cherry sauce, in a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and cloves. Stir in apple juice and vinegar until smooth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat. Stir in cherries and food coloring if desired; heat through. Serve with ham.

1/2 cup apple jelly
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
2/3 cup ginger ale, divided
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Steps:

  • Score surface of ham, making diamond shapes 1/2 in. deep. In a small bowl, combine the jelly, mustard and 1 tablespoon ginger ale; rub over scored surface of ham. Cut ham in half; place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until a thermometer reads 140°, basting with cooking juices near the end of cooking time., For sauce, place pie filling in a saucepan. Combine cornstarch and remaining ginger ale; stir into pie filling until blended. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve over ham.

2 tablespoons water
1 (16 ounce) can dark sweet cherries
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
5 teaspoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon allspice
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 cup rose wine (optional)

Steps:

  • Place ham slices in baking dish.
  • Drain cherries and reserve syrup.
  • Combine cherry syrup in saucepan with cornstarch, sugar, vinegar, water and spices.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and clear.
  • Add wine and cherries.
  • Pour over ham slices and bake at 350F 45 minutes.
