1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 egg
6 slices rye bread, cut into cubes (6 cups)
1 1/4 cups coarsely chopped cooked ham (8 oz) or 1 1/4 cups chicken or turkey (8 oz)
1 medium pear, peeled and chopped
3 green onions, sliced (3 tablespoons)
8 ounces brie cheese, peeled and cut into cubes

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degreees,.
  • Beat butter, milk and egg in a medium bowl.
  • Add bread cubes, ham, pear and onions, toss.
  • Spread bread mixture in greased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches.
  • Top with cheese cubes Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes or until pears are tender and cheese is melted.

2 cups zucchini, sliced
6 slices sourdough bread, crusty 1/2-inch slices
8 ounces brie cheese, cut in 1/4-inch cubes
2 plum tomatoes, 1/4-inch slices
6 grape tomatoes, halved
1 cup fat-free liquid egg product (egg beaters of whites)
2/3 cup fat-free evaporated milk
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons dill, fresh snipped

Steps:

  • Cook zucchini in salted water 2 - 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Coat a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Arrange bread sliced on bottom (cut to fit).
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese.
  • Layer zucchini and tomatoes on top of cheese.
  • Top with remaining cheese.
  • Combine egg product, milk, onion and dill.
  • Pour over veggies and cheese.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 4 - 24 hours.
  • Remove wrap and cover with foil.
  • Bake in preheated 325 oven for 30 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake an additional 25 - 30 minutes.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

12 slices white bread, crusts removed
1 pound fully cooked ham, diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
3 cups whole milk
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash cayenne pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup crushed cornflakes

Steps:

  • Arrange six slices of bread in the bottom of a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Top with ham and cheese. Cover with remaining bread. , In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and cayenne. Stir in onion and green pepper; pour over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. , Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Pour butter over bread; sprinkle with cornflakes. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

1/2 pound sliced deli ham
1 round (8 ounces) Brie cheese, rind removed, sliced

Steps:

  • Spread 4 bread slices with half of the preserves. Layer with ham and cheese. Spread remaining bread with remaining preserves; place over cheese, preserves side down. Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter., In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, toast sandwiches over medium heat until golden brown and cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes on each side.

8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups fresh baby spinach
2 garlic cloves, minced
12 cups (about 8 ounces) cubed day-old French bread
2 cups cubed deli ham
8 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and chopped
8 large eggs
3 cups 2% milk
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and onion; cook and stir until mushrooms are golden brown and onion is tender, 5-7 minutes. Add spinach and garlic; cook until spinach is wilted, 1-2 minutes longer., Transfer mushroom mixture to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Add bread, ham and cheese., In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over bread. Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes.
