Game Day Cheese Dip image

Spice up your game day with this cheesy dip! There's definitely a jalapeno kick to this, so cut back on the jalapenos if needed. It will still be flavorful. Super tasty, this creamy dip is a fantastic snack for watching football games.

Number Of Ingredients 5

Ingredients

2 can(s) Hormel chili with no beans, 15 oz each
1 box Velvetta cheese, 32 oz.
1/2 - 1 c diced jalapeno peppers
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 bag(s) tortilla chips

Steps:

1. Spray a medium-size Crock Pot with cooking spray,
2. Then cube the Velveeta into small cubes. Add cheese to the Crock Pot.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir as needed.
4. Put on high for 3 hrs or low for 5-6 hrs. Stir frequently.

Melt butter in a pan on the stove over medium heat. Add red onion, bell pepper, corn and jalapeños. Sauté for a couple minutes and then add salt, garlic and cayenne.
Turn off the heat and add the cheese. Mix well and then pour it into a 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish. Spread out evenly over the pan.
