GAME DAY ITALIAN MEATBALL PARTY SUBS!
These literally fly off the table on game day. One thing I know about men in particular... they like their meatballs! Spicy, tomatoish, cheezy, meatball goodness all in one pan. Feed many at a time. This really is a winner! One bite you will be addicted! No help for it!

Steps:
- 1. Spray 9x13 baking dish with non stick spray. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Slice the bread into 3/4 inch slices and place snugly into the baking dish.
- 3. Combine cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and anise or fennel. Mix well and spread on top of all the bread slices.
- 4. Cut meatballs in half and place them in tight rows over the whole top of casserole, making sure the rounded part is on top.
- 5. Next, spoon spaghetti sauce over the top. You don't want it really soggy so just enough to lightly cover.
- 6. Top with mozzarella cheese. Add the Parmesan cheese to the top of mozzarella. Drizzle with a little olive oil and bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted to your liking! Then just use a spatula to remove them from pan and enjoy!

- Preheat oven to 350º. Cut rolls horizontally in half; place roll bottoms in a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Mix mayonnaise and pesto until combined. Spread over cut sides of rolls. Layer bottoms with mozzarella cheese, ham, salami, pastrami, giardiniera, shredded Parmesan cheese, basil leaves and red onion. Place bun tops over filling and gently press to flatten. , Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven; brush with salad dressing. Bake until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 5 minutes longer. Cool slightly before cutting. Serve with pepperoncini and additional giardiniera if desired.

- Split the bread in half lengthwise. Top the bottom half with the mortadella, capicola, salami, prosciutto and provolone. Toss the giardiniera in a bowl with the olives, peppers and olive oil. Tear out the soft center of the top bread half to make a shell. Pack the lettuce into the center of the bread and top with the giardiniera mixture. Carefully put the two sandwich halves together, pressing to keep the filling inside. Secure with small skewers and cut into pieces.

- Make meatballs by combining eggs, and milk, add breadcrumbs, cheese and seasoning then add the meats.
- Mixwell, and shape into 1 inch balls, broil or saute until brown, and put into slow cooker.
- Combine sauce ingredients, and pour over meatballs.
- Cover, and cook 4-6 hours.
- Serve on rolls with creamy red potatoes, salad, or dessert.

- To make meatballs: Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a broiler pan or a large baking pan fitted with a rack with cooking spray. Set aside.
- To a medium size mixing bowl add ground beef and sausage, onion, panko, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, 1 tsp salt, and red pepper flakes. Beat milk and eggs together then, add to the bowl. Using your hands, mix everything together thoroughly.
- Form into 1 - 1 1/2 inch meatballs and place onto the pan without touching. (It's helpful to use a medium size scoop to keep meatballs uniform in size) Bake for 22-25 minutes.
- To assemble subs: Preheat oven to broil. Line a large baking pan with parchment. Mix 1/2 tsp garlic salt into butter. Spread on each side of bread. Toast very lightly then remove from oven. Lower oven temp to 425°F.
