FAVORITE CHICKEN WING GLAZE/SAUCE
This recipe comes from Hershey Food Service Division. It can be used on chicken wings or even chicken tenders.

Steps:
- Melt butter in heavy sauce pan over medium heat; add dried onions.
- Stir in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, tomato paste, vinegar, mustard, hot pepper sauce and cocoa.
- Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; remove from heat.
- Heat desired amount of wings according to package directions.
- Place wings in large bowl and add sauce; toss gently to coat.
- Serve immediately.
- (For every 2 lbs. of chicken wings, use 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup glaze to coat.).

Steps:
- Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard wing tip section. Place in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Combine barbecue sauce, honey and soy sauce; pour over wings. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.

- Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Fry chicken in the hot oil, working in batches, until no longer pink in the center and is crispy on the outside, 10 to 15 minutes per batch. Transfer chicken to a paper towel-lined plate using a slotted spoon; set aside until cool enough to touch.
- Stir margarine, hot sauce, garlic, onion soup mix, lemon juice, and basil together in a bowl until sauce is smooth.
- Put chicken in a large resealable bag; add the sauce, seal the bag, and shake until wings are coated. Spread wings into a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until sauce has baked onto the chicken, about 5 minutes.

- Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tip section. Set wings aside. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, oil, chili sauce, salt, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and ginger. Cook and stir until blended and heated through. Cool to room temperature. , Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag; add honey mixture. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight., Drain and discard marinade. Place wings in a well-greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes. Drain; turn wings. Bake 20-25 minutes longer or until chicken juices run clear and glaze is set.
