- In a large bowl, use a spatula to fold together the apples, sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Pour the apples into the prepared pan.
- Make the topping: In a large bowl, using a spatula, fold the topping ingredients until large crumbles are formed. Spread the topping mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, checking at around 25 minutes. The crumble is done when the top is a golden brown color and the apples are soft.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Cut butter into flour, using a pastry blender or two knives, until mixture is the texture of coarse meal. Add oats, and use your hands to toss and squeeze mixture until large, moist clumps form.
