DOMETIC FRIDGE FREEZING EVERYTHING [HOW TO FIX]

The Damper Control Assembly. To confirm the state of the damper control assembly, locate it inside the fridge and visually inspect it. If it is broken or stuck in an open state, replace it immediately.
The Thermostat. To find out if the thermostat of your Dometic fridge has an electrical fault, use a multimeter to read the continuity of the thermostat.
The Gasket. To know whether the door gasket is fine, close the fridge’s door on a thin sheet of paper. Now, gently pull the sheet until it either comes out wholly or gets torn.
The Temperature Setting. Return the temperature to its recommended setting: thirty-seven to forty degrees Fahrenheit for the refrigerator; zero degrees Fahrenheit for the freezer.
The Thermistor. Get a heater or drying device and a multimeter. First check the rated value of the device (100Ω, 1KΩ, 10KΩ). Now, set the resistance value close to its rated resistance value.
The Main Control Board. It is only in rare cases that the main control board gets faulty. When, however, it does, a lot of problems, including that of over-freezing, will result.
Place Fruits and Vegetables in the Fresh Food Section. If you do not want them to get frozen, do not place your fruits and vegetables in the freezer. Place all the contents that are not intended to be frozen in the fresh food section.
Avoid the Freezer Vent. The fresh food section gets its coolness from the freezer vent. Since cold air enters this section through the freezer vent, contents facing it directly will get frozen.
Put Enough Items in the Refrigerator. If your Dometic refrigerator is empty to a large extent, the cool air falls to the bottom of the fridge. This makes everything that you placed at the bottom get frozen.
