Creamy, garlicky, and completely delicious, this salad dressing is ready in about 5 minutes and is great on green salads, main dish salads, pasta salads- and even sandwiches.

Ingredients

3/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon mild vinegar (white wine, white balsamic, rice, or apple cider vinegar)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper*
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Steps:

Add all the ingredients to the jar of a blender and whir until blended.
If needed, thin with 1-2 tablespoons of water as needed for pouring - leave as is for using as a dip.

Ingredients

1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/3 cup fat-free milk
2 teaspoons sugar
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

In a small bowl, whisk the sour cream, mayonnaise, milk and sugar. Stir in the onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons minced onions
3 finely minced garlic cloves (or more if you dare!)
2 -4 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
1/2 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1 1/2 cups sour cream
salt & freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Steps:

In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, water, onion and garlic; simmer until onion is tender (about 5 minutes).
Add in sugar and simmer until dissolved. Cool to room temperature.
Stir in mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and pepper.
Refrigerate dressing for 2 hours or more.
Delicious!
