"I adapted this recipe from one given to me by my first best friend, Sandy, in 1966," said Judy Harris of McRae, Georgia. "I often made it for my children and now when they come home for a visit, they still love it. I shared this recipe with a local restaurant owner and he tweaked it for his menu."

2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
1 cup whipped topping
1-1/4 cups cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, brown sugar and butter; press into an ungreased 9x5-in. loaf pan. , In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping. Spread over crust. Top with pie filling. Chill until serving.

This is a really great dessert, plan ahead this needs to chill for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight is even better.

1 3/4 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups whipped dream whipped topping (1 envelope)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (28 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Prepare a 9 x 9" baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and 1 tbsp sugar; spread on bottom of prepared baking pan to form a crust.
  • Mix the Dream Whip topping according to directions on the package, then beat in the softened cream cheese into the Dream Whip a little at a time.
  • Add the remaining sugar and vanilla until well blended.
  • Smooth on top of the crust.
  • Top with the cherry pie filling.
  • Chill at least 3 hours (overnight is even better) if storing in the fridge overnight, cover with plastic wrap.

¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons sugar
1 pinch salt
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
½ cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Combine cracker crumbs, butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl until all ingredients are mixed together well. Divide graham cracker mixture between 8 dessert dishes, about 2 tablespoons of mixture per dessert dish.
  • Beat cream cheese in a separate bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and beat in until well blended. Beat in lemon juice and vanilla extract. Spoon 1/4 cup of cream cheese mixture into each dish on top of the graham crackers. Top each with 1/4 cup of the cherry pie filling.
  • Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

The best cherry cream cheese lush layered dessert you have ever tasted.

2 ½ cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup butter (melted)
1 ½ cups chopped pecans (divided)
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
16 ounces Cool Whip (divided)
6.8 ounces vanilla instant pudding (2 (3.4 ounce) boxes)
2 cups milk
42 ounces cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl combine vanilla wafer crumbs, melted butter and 1 cup chopped pecans. Spread into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool completely.
  • In another mixing bowl combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 1/2 cups of cool whip until well blended. Spread carefully over the cooled vanilla wafer crust.
  • In another bowl combine the pudding mixes and milk until well blended. Then fold in 1 1/2 cups cool whip. Mix until smooth and spread over the cream cheese layer.
  • Top with the cherry pie filling. Then spread the remaining cool whip over the top. Spread the remaining 1/2 cup of pecans on top.
  • Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Such a yummy no-bake dessert and always a hit at my summertime get togethers, I most always prepare two of these, there is never any leftovers! don't wait until summertime to try this dessert, it is great to have in any season --- plan ahead this needs to chill for at least 8 hours or overnight.

2 (102 g) packages French vanilla instant pudding or 2 (102 g) packages vanilla instant pudding mix
1 (9 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (Cool Whip is good)
3 cups whole milk
2 ounces semisweet chocolate (Baker's is good)
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons corn syrup
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (icing)
1 (600 g) box graham crackers (NOT crumbs)

Steps:

  • Prepare a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  • Beat the two packages of pudding mix, with 3 cups whole milk for 2 minutes, or until thick.
  • Fold in the thawed frozen topping.
  • In the prepared baking dish, evenly put a layer of crackers on the bottom.
  • Pour half of the prepared pudding mixture over the crackers.
  • Put another layer of crackers over the pudding.
  • Put the remaining pudding on top.
  • Then a final layer of crackers.
  • In the microwave, melt the chocolate squares and 2 Tbsp butter together; mix to combine well.
  • Add in the corn syrup, 2 Tbsp milk and vanilla to the chocolate mixture; mix until combined well.
  • Add in the icing sugar; beat until smooth and well combined.
  • Spread the mixture over the top layer of crackers.
  • Refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours.
