12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 cans (8 ounces each) crushed pineapple, drained
1 can (14 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
2 cups whipped topping

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and mayonnaise until smooth. Fold in remaining ingredients; spoon into a foil-lined 8x4-in loaf pan. Cover and freeze 8 hours or overnight. Remove from freezer 5 minutes before slicing.

1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple (well-drained)
2 (14-ounce) cans whole cranberry sauce
16 ounces sour cream
2 cups frozen whipped topping (thawed, or prepared Dream Whip)
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (coarsely chopped)

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Lightly grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the drained pineapple, cranberry sauce, sour cream, whipped topping , confectioners' sugar, and pecans, if using.
  • Spoon the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Freeze the fruit salad for several hours or overnight, or until solid.
  • To serve, cut the frozen salad into squares and arrange on salad greens.

2 cans (one 20 ounces, one 8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 package (10 ounces) miniature marshmallows
1 cup green maraschino cherries, quartered
1 cup red maraschino cherries, quartered
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, pineapple, marshmallows, cherries and lemon juice. Fold in whipped cream. , Spoon into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Cover and freeze overnight. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

This is a variation on classic, fresh Ocean Spray® cranberry sauce! My grandma has made it for years and people who don't like cranberry sauce request that I make this at our events! It's different and great! This is a nice change of pace. and I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like it! Tastes best if stored in refrigerator overnight.

1 (16 ounce) can pineapple chunks with juice
water as needed
1 cup white sugar
1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries

Steps:

  • Drain juice from canned pineapple into a measuring cup. Fill the measuring cup with enough water to equal 1 cup liquid altogether.
  • Stir pineapple juice mixture and sugar together in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add cranberries and return to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until cranberries burst, about 10 minutes.
  • Mix pineapple chunks into cranberry mixture. Cool to room temperature before serving.

In South GA, it gets HOT! As a diabetic, my DH's mother (Nana) eats a little of this to cool down and to raise the blood sugar a bit. I don't know about that...I just think it's an interesting combo of ingredients (unlike others posted on Zaar) that I can't get enough of....but she's right about one thing. Little squares of this is great to pop on a really hot day! Cut into little squares and put into a airtight container..it stays soft enough in my freezer to eat right away. This is easy to double and/or freeze in individual serving cups for the Holidays. Put the individual cups in freezer bags. Cook time is freeze time

2 packages (3 ounces each) raspberry gelatin
1 can (14 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Lettuce leaves, optional
Miracle Whip, optional

Steps:

  • Add boiling water to gelatin; stir until dissolved, about 2 minutes. Stir in cranberry sauce. Add pineapple, orange juice and lemon juice. Refrigerate until thickened, about 30 minutes. 2 cans (14 ounces each) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 package (14 ounces) frozen unsweetened sliced strawberries, thawed and drained
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, gently mix cranberry sauce, pineapple and strawberries until blended. Refrigerate, covered, 1-2 hours or until cold. Just before serving, stir in walnuts.
