COPYCAT SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK SUBSTITUTE (PAULA DEEN)
Paula Deen made this on her show. It is the butter that sets this apart from other recipes. This milk is so thick and creamy you will want to eat it with a spoon (or at least I always do)! I have used this several times and it has worked like a charm. I am so happy to have this for the holidays, since it's usually the one ingredient I'm out of.

Steps:
- Using an electric mixer or blender, blend together water, butter, sugar, and vanilla.
- Add powdered milk and blend until thick.
- Store in refrigerator for one week.

LACTOSE-FREE CONDENSED MILK SUBSTITUTE
Use in any recipe calling for sweetened condensed milk; equivalent to two cans. If you are trying to reduce sugar in your diet, you can omit the sugar. Adapted from Recipe #73863. Soymilk powder can be found in most health-food or bulk stores.

SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK SUBSTITUTE FOR DIABETICS
Being a diabetic is hard. It's difficult to find everyday ingredients. However, if you use some of the "in-a-pinch" recipes and make your own, you can substitute the sugar for Splenda and **HOPE** it turns out right. This did and it's really opened doors for me as a dessert maker.
