2 cups fresh strawberries, divided
2/3 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
ice cubes
1/2 cup cold water
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping, thawed
1 ready-to-use reduced-fat graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)

Steps:

  • Slice 1 cup strawberries; refrigerate for later use. Chop remaining strawberries; set aside.
  • Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice.
  • Whisk in COOL WHIP. Stir in chopped strawberries. Refrigerate 20 to 30 min. or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon into crust.
  • Refrigerate 6 hours or until firm. Top with sliced berries just before serving.

It's that time of year again and here in Georgia the peaches are in. Here's a peach pie recipe that my family loves and I hope yours will too. Note: Cook time is cool time.

2 c fresh peeled, sliced peaches divided
2/3 c boiling water
1 pkg 3 oz. peach flavor gelatin
ice cubes
1/2 c cold water
8 oz cool whip
1 6 oz. graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. Slice 1 cup of peaches, refrigerate for later use. Chop remaining peaches, set aside. Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin, stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice.
  • 2. Whisk in cool whip. Stir in chopped peaches. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon into pie crust.
  • 3. Refrigerate 6 hours or longer until firm. Top with remaining sliced peaches.

1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O® mix
½ cup cold water
½ cup ice
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

Steps:

  • In large bowl, stir boiling water into gelatin at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Mix cold water and ice to measure 3/4 cup. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice.
  • Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk until smooth. Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon filling into crust. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with sliced strawberries before serving.

1 graham cracker pie crust (6oz.)

Steps:

  • 1. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in a large bowl at least 2 minutes until completly dissolved.
  • 2. Add enough ice cubes to cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin: stir until slightly thickened.
  • 3. Remove and discard any unmelted ice.
  • 4. Gently stir in whipped topping with wirewhisk until well blended. Refridgerate 15-20 minutes or until mixtures is very thick and will mound.

  • In mixing bowl, mix boiling water and Jello for about 2 minutes until dissolved.
  • In a measuring cup, combine ice cubes and water to measure 1 cup.
  • Stir into Jello mixture til ice is melted.

  • Mix Graham crumbs and butter; press firmly onto and up sides of 9-inch pie plate.
  • Stir boiling water into dry jelly powder in alrge bowl 2 minutes or completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cp. Add to jelly; stir untiol slightly thicke ned.
