⅓ cup butter, softened
⅔ cup packed brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
½ cup applesauce
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cups rolled oats

Steps:

  • In bowl beat butter till creamy. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda. Stir until combined. Mix in applesauce and egg. Add flour, a little at a time. Stir in oats.
  • Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Enjoy!

  • Heat the milk in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add in the oats and applesauce. Bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix in the cinnamon and pour into a bowl.

1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1/2 cup chunky-style applesauce
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup golden raisins
1 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put brown andgranulated sugars and the butter in thebowl of an electric mixer fitted with thepaddle attachment. Mix on low speeduntil combined. Add egg and apple-sauce; mix until well combined, 2 to 3minutes. Add oats, flour, baking soda,baking powder, and salt; mix until wellcombined. Mix in raisins.

1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon brown sugar (packed)
3/4 cup applesauce
candy sprinkles (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix the water, oats, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla in medium sauce pan.
  • Bring to a boil and reduce heat to just above medium.
  • Continue boiling for 3 minutes.
  • Add sugar and stir.
  • Add applesauce and stir.
  • Scoop into bowls and add small amount of milk (do not stir).
