Another cocktail recipe from the Absolute website. Chef's note: this is pretty strong. The original recipe called for 1 oz of simple syrup which was WAY too sweet for me, so I decreased the recipe to 1/2 oz. I also added the twist of lemon, as it brightened up the flavors.

Ingredients

1 ounce Absolut citron vodka
3 ounces red port wine
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1 lemon, juice of

Steps:

Fill a rocks glass to the rim with ice cubes. Pour absolut citron, port, red and simple syrup over the ice. Garnish with a lemon (slice) and an orange (slice).

Summer Port Cocktail. Mark my words: white port is going to be the “it” drink of summer 2023. Slightly sweet with fruity and oaky notes, it’s best served chilled.
Port Negroni. We’re still drinking Negronis, right? Good! Because this twist on the classic is too good to miss. Sweet port, floral gin, and spicy Campari are a heavenly combination.
