EASY PESTO MAYO



Easy Pesto Mayo image

A delicious blend of creamy mayonnaise and garlicky basil pesto, this easy pesto mayo is the perfect spread for sandwiches or as an aioli dip for your favourite appetizers.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 Cup mayonnaise
1/4 Cup basil pesto (homemade or store-bought)
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Can be served immediately, but allowing it to rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving will help the flavours blend.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup avocado oil
¼ cup sesame oil
¼ cup light olive oil
3 eggs
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 ½ teaspoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon brown mustard
¾ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Combine avocado oil, sesame oil, and olive oil in a glass measuring cup or bowl.
  • Place eggs, lemon juice, mustard powder, brown mustard, and salt in a food processor. Turn on food processor and slowly pour in oil mixture through feeder tube until it is incorporated and mayonnaise is smooth and thick, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir with spatula to incorporate any remaining drops of oil on top.
