BLUEBERRY LIME SLUSH
My husband's family makes a cranberry beverage for the holidays. I changed it up and serve it this way in winter and summer, when blueberries are in season. -Rebecca Bratsman, Tacoma, Washington

Steps:
- In a large saucepan, combine sugar and water; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool 30 minutes., Stir juice concentrates and blueberry juice into syrup; divide mixture (about 2 cups each) among five 1-1/2-pint freezer containers. Freeze, covered, overnight or until firm., For each four-serving batch, place one portion frozen mixture into a blender; add 1-2/3 cups soda. Cover and process just until blended. Serve immediately. If desired, serve with blueberries.

BLUEBERRY BOURBON SMASH RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: light brown sugar, water, blueberry, ice, bourbon, lemon juice, blueberry simple syrup, ginger beer, lemon wedge

Steps:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar completely.
- Add the blueberries to the pot and boil until the berries begin to burst, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer.
- Garnish with lemon wedge.
- Enjoy!

- In batches, place lemon juice, raspberries, blueberries and sugar in a blender; cover and process until blended. Strain and discard seeds., Transfer to a 2-1/2-qt. freezer container; stir in water. Freeze for 8 hours or overnight., Just before serving, remove from freezer and let stand 45 minutes or until slushy.

- In a large container, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in sugar until dissolved. Add the pineapple juice, ginger ale, water and lemon juice. Add food coloring if desired. Freeze for 8 hours or overnight. , Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving. Stir until mixture is slushy. Serve in a chilled glass. For garnish, thread fruit on wooden skewers if desired. Serve immediately

Steps:
- In a large container, dissolve sugar and gelatins in boiling water. Stir in the pineapple juice concentrate, lemon juice, drink mix and cold water. If desired, divide among smaller containers. Cover and freeze, stirring several times., Remove from freezer at least 1 hour before serving. Stir until mixture becomes slushy. Just before serving, place 9 cups slush mixture in a punch bowl; stir in 1 liter ginger ale. Repeat with remaining slush and ginger ale. If desired, garnish with lime slices.
