GLAZED APPLE CINNAMON CAKE

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 35o degrees. Coat a 9-inch round cake pan with cooking spray.
- Make the cake by combining the oil, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla in a small bowl; whisk until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt together until well combined. Add the apples and mix until evenly coated.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared cake tin and spread out evenly with a rubber spatula. The batter will be very thick.
- Make the cinnamon topping by combining the cooled melted butter with the sugar and cinnamon until well combined. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the cake.
- Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes, making sure to turn halfway through baking, until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
- Make the glaze by combining the powdered sugar and milk together until creamy, smooth, and your desired thickness.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake. Slice and serve with ice-cold milk. Enjoy!

CINNAMON GLAZED APPLE DESSERT
This is a great recipe to use for a beautiful dessert. This recipe was given to me by a friend, but changed a little by me.

- 1. Peel and core apples. Set aside. In a saucepan combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and stir until candies are dissolved; add the apples slowly, one at a time. Cook them gently until they are tender. Test with a fork. Remove from the syrup, Fill the hollows with blanched almonds or other nut meats, and raisins are optional. --- Note: Boil the syrup until it falls heavily from a spoon. Pour over the apples. Chill. --- My version: Glazed Apples 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2 Tablespoons cinnamon candies 3 oz. package strawberry jellO 10 of your favorite apples, peel and slice --- Combine and bring ingredients, except apples, to a boil. Stir until cinnamon and jello are dissolved. Peel the apples, core, and cut into wedges. Butter or spray a 9x13-inch baking dish- place apple slices or wedges in dish. Pour hot mixture over apples, bake in 350^ oven until apples are fork tender, about 35 minutes. This can be served warm or cold for dessert. I like to sprinkle chopped walnuts and golden raisins over top with a nice scoop of vanilla bean ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. --- Note: This mixture works good as a dump cake too. Sprinkle dry white or yellow cake mix over apple mixture in pan then pour 1/4 cup of melted butter over top. and bake as directed above. This is real good like this. I have even made it with pineapple cake mix and nuts and butter on top.

Plain apple-cinnamon bread has became a new favorite around my house. So I thought, let's change it up a bit! I made some changes to the old recipe and added some streusel with glaze. It's perfect for fall and winter seasons!

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon flour.
- Prepare glaze: mix confectioners' sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla together in a small bowl. Place in the refrigerator to chill.
- Prepare bread: stir white sugar, butter, brown sugar, and egg together in a medium bowl.
- Sift flour, cinnamon, and baking soda together in another bowl. Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Stir in chopped apples. Pour batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan.
- Prepare streusel: combine brown sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Mix with a fork until crumb-like and sprinkle evenly on top of the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Let cool on a cooling rack for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the glaze from the refrigerator and pour into a zip-top bag. Cut a tiny hole in the tip of the bag and drizzle glaze over the bread.
