1 tablespoon light olive oil
1/2 teaspoon mccormick® cinnamon, ground, divided
1 pound small whole carrots, peeled
2 tablespoon orange juice
1 teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Mix oil and 1/4 teaspoon of the cinnamon in large bowl.
  • Add carrots; toss to coat well.
  • Spread evenly in 13x9-inch baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Mix orange juice, honey and remaining 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in small bowl.
  • Spoon carrots into serving bowl.
  • Drizzle with honey mixture.

"When Anna was a little girl, the only vegetable she would eat was carrots covered in a packaged glaze," she recalls. "I ran out of glaze one day and created this taste-tempting recipe. I never bought a prepared glaze again."

1 package (16 ounces) frozen sliced carrots
1/4 cup honey
1 to 2 tablespoons butter
1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Cook carrots according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat the honey, butter and cinnamon until butter is melted; stir to blend. , Drain carrots; place in a serving bowl. Drizzle with honey mixture.

WONDERFUL FLAVOR!! Bake along in oven with a meat or Microwave for a quick and easy casserole. The butter-cinnamon mixture is AWESOME with the carrots and makes a good side dish with any dinner! Great to carry to a potluck because it is great served hot or cold.

1 lb carrot, sliced
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup hot water

Steps:

  • Mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Stir in hot water. If microwaving use 1/4 cup hot water.
  • Place carrots in baking dish and pour butter mixture over carrots. Stir to coat.
  • Spray or grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. BAKE 50 to 60 minutes in a 350 degree oven until tender or MICROWAVE for approximately 15 minutes. (Tenderness will depend on size of sliced carrots.).
  • Serve hot or cold.
  • Enjoy!

2 (16 ounce) packages baby carrots
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup melted butter
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Put carrots in 3 to 4 quart slow cooker sprayed with vetable cooking spray.
  • Ina large bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, butter, and cinnamon, and mix well.
  • Pour overcarrots and mix so that sugar-cinnamon mixture coats carrots.
  • Cover and cook on low for 31/2 to 4 hours and stir throughly each hour during cooking time.
  • About 15-20 minutes before serving transfer carrots with a slotted spoon to serving dish and cover to keep warm.
  • Pour liquid from cooker into a saucepan, then boil for several minutes until liquid is reduced in half.
  • Spoon over carrots in serving dish.

1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter (or stick margarine)

  • Cook carrots by your preferred method (steaming, microwave, stovetop), until crisp-tender.
  • In a separate saucepan, heat the honey, butter and cinnamon until butter is melted, stir to blend.
  • Drain carrots and place in serving dish.
  • Drizzle honey mixture over carrots and serve.

3 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 lbs baby carrots, trimmed,scrubbed
1/2 teaspoon salt
water
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Melt butter in saucepan.
  • Add carrots, salt, sugar and just enough water to barely cover the carrots.
  • Cover and cook carrots on medium heat until tender.
  • (time depends on carrot size. I usually cook baby carrots for about 25 minutes.) Remove lid, bring saucepan to a boil and boil until water is evaporated completely, leaving carrots with a sticky, buttery glaze.
  • Watch carefully and stir so carrots do not scorch.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and mix.
  • Serve immediately.

CINNAMON-BUTTER BAKED CARROTS

15 sticks Carrots, peeled and stems removed
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 bunch chopped parsley (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Clean carrots and arrange in a 9" x 13" baking dish.
  • Using an electric mixer, cream the butter, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. While the mixer is running, slowly add the boiling water and orange juice.
  • Pour mixture over the carrots and cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 90 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and transfer carrots to a serving platter. Drizzle carrots with the melted cinnamon butter from the baking dish. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

  • Place carrots in large pan with water & boil, covered, until just tender, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Remove carrots to a bowl & keep the liquid in the large pan.
  • To the carrot liquid add cider vinegar, sugar & cinnamon, then bring to boil.
  • Pour hot liquid over carrots & let cool.
  • Cover & chill overnight or as long as 2 1/2 weeks, before serving.

¼ cup butter, melted
¼ cup orange juice
⅓ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place carrots into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Whisk butter, orange juice, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon together in a large bowl until sugars are dissolved. Add carrots to the glaze mixture; toss to coat. Transfer carrots and glaze to a 1-quart baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until carrots are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
