Kids have so much gun making and decorating these tasty treats. They're easy and they're so good. The fast five-ingredients brownies get their fun domino look with a topping of prepared frosting and mini chocolate chips.-Cathy Drew, Monroe, Michigan

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup chocolate syrup
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup vanilla frosting
Miniature chocolate chips

Steps:

  • In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and chocolate syrup; mix well. Gradually add flour. Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost brownies; cut into 18 rectangles (2-1/3x1-1/8 in.). With a toothpick, draw a line dividing each rectangle in half widthwise. Decorate with chocolate chips.

I found this recipe on the internet a few years ago, printed it out, and then could never recover the link. It's so amazing I wouldn't want it to be lost to the world. Enjoy!

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla and salt.
  • Beat in cocoa powder.
  • Dissolve baking soda in water and mix into dough.
  • Stir in flour, and then chips.
  • Place dough by spoonful on a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 14 to 16 minutes. (Do not overbake! Cookies will seem a bit underdone when they should come out of the oven - this keeps them from drying out).

  • Line a lightly oiled 20-cm (8-inch) square cake pan with plastic wrap, letting the wrap hang over the sides.
  • With the microwave oven on medium power, melt the butter, chocolate and honey in a bowl, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the graham cracker crumbs, stirring with a wooden spoon until the mixture is well blended. Spread the mixture in the cake pan and press into an even layer. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the milk, pudding mix, sugar and butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread evenly over the crust. Set aside at room temperature.
  • With the microwave oven on medium power, melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl, 2 to 3 minutes. Mix well with a whisk. Spread over the filling. Refrigerate for about 3 hours. Grasp the edges of the plastic wrap and lift the confection out of the pan. Peel off the plastic wrap and cut into 32 rectangles, about 5 x 2.5 cm (2 x 1 inch). Decorate with dots and lines of white icing in domino pat.
