Our Chihuahua® Jalapeño Cheese Sauce is a simple and delicious combination of Shredded Jalapeño Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V Supremo® and Supremo® Brand Sour Cream from V&V Supremo®. Try this delicious sauce with nachos, pretzels, or as a dip for your favorite snacks.

½ Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 tsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup vegetable broth
½ cup Supremo® Brand Mexican Sour Cream from V&V SUPREMO®
1 (7.06 oz.) bag Shredded Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese with Jalapeño from V&V SUPREMO®

Steps:

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat for 1 minute, or until butter is fully melted. Add flour and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until a flour is absorbed. ; Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium.; Add Sour Cream, Shredded Jalapeño Cheese, and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.; Pour Jalapeño Cheese Sauce over nachos, sandwiches, or your favorite foods. Serve and enjoy!

3 tablespoons butter
¼ cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
3 pickled jalapeno pepper slices, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
¼ (1 pound) loaf processed cheese food (such as Velveeta®)
¼ teaspoon pickled jalapeno pepper juice

Steps:

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onion, garlic, and jalapeno; cook and stir until onion turns translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir flour into onion mixture until vegetables are evenly coated. Pour in milk; cook and stir until mixture thickens slightly, 3 to 4 minutes. Add processed cheese food, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth, about 15 minutes more. Stir in pickled jalapeno juice.
