CHEESY PIZZA BREAD

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a large oven-proof skillet or coat with nonstick spray. To make the garlic butter topping, whisk together butter, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, oregano and salt in a small bowl; set aside. Cut each of the 8 biscuits into fourths, making 32 pieces. Spread biscuits in a single layer onto the prepared skillet. Brush with garlic butter topping. Top with pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan and mini pepperonis. Place into oven and bake until the cheese has melted, about 14-16 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add sugar, milk and salt. Add enough flour to make a soupy like mixture. Add the rest of the flour, enough to form a moderately stiff dough. Knead the dough until smooth. (Or you can use a Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook). Roll the dough into the size and shape of your baking pan. Spread half of the butter onto the bottom of the pan and then place the dough into the pan. Let rise in warm, draft-free place for 15 minutes. Spread remaining butter on the top of the dough. Top dough with mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, parmesan, salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 or until golden brown. Cut into breadsticks and serve with marinara sauce.

Steps:

• Prepare pizza crust as directed.
• Pat into greased 12 inch pizza pan.
• In small bowl, combine butter with seasonings and brush on crust.
• Sprinkle with cheese.
• Bake in 450 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
• Tastes great dipped in spaghetti sauce.
