MAC AND CHEESE WITH HOT DOGS
Creamy and delicious homemade mac and cheese with hot dogs is the quick and easy family dinner that everyone will love to have! Cook your pasta up with the franks and then create this ultra-rich and creamy cheese sauce for the perfect kid-pleasing meal!

Steps:
- Cook your pasta according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite) in texture. Add your hot dogs into the boiling water with the pasta for the last few minutes before the pasta is done. Drain and rinse both the pasta and hot dogs in cool water.
- After draining remove the hot dogs, slice, and set aside with the pasta.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the flour and seasoning - garlic powder, salt, white pepper, and onion powder. Stir until a paste is formed.
- Add the heavy cream and stir or whisk until the mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat and add the grated cheddar. Stir until melted.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the cooked macaroni noodles, add the sliced hotdogs, and stir to coat all of the pasta and hot dogs. Garnish with additional cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.

- Cook macaroni according to package directions. When almost tender, add frankfurters. Cook until macaroni is done and frankfurters are plumped drain well.Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, place cheese spread, milk and prepared mustard. Over low heat, cook until cheese melts, stirring occasionally. Stir in cooked macaroni with frankfurters and pepper and heat through, stirring occasionally.Serve with steamed broccoli spears, carrot sticks and ice cream.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, and saute, stirring frequently, until translucent, 3 to 4 minutes. Add flour, and stir to coat onion. Reduce heat to medium. While stirring with a whisk, add the milk in a steady stream; continue whisking constantly, especially in the corners of the pan, until combined. Continue to cook, whisking constantly, until sauce begins to thicken slightly, about 2 minutes. Add the cheese 1 cup at a time, stirring to combine after each addition.
- Remove from heat, and stir in the beans and sausage. Season with salt and pepper, and transfer to an 8-inch square or 6-cup-capacity ovenproof dish.
- Sprinkle croutons over the top of the casserole, and bake until edges are bubbling, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool slightly before serving.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the flour, cream, half-and-half, sour cream, egg, mustard, cayenne, salt, pepper and nutmeg until smooth., Drain pasta. Transfer to a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish. Stir in cubed cheeses. Top with cream mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese., Bake, uncovered, at 350° until bubbly and golden brown, 30-40 minutes.
