This cheesy bacon ranch chicken is a family favorite. Everyone loves the ranch flavored cream cheese and pile of cheddar and bacon on top.

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 chicken breasts, about 6 ounces each
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon avocado oil
6 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning powder
1 cup grated cheddar
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped green onion

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix together onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika and sprinkle evenly over chicken. Rub to coat chicken in seasoning blend.
  • Heat oil in a large heavy bottomed, oven safe skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4 minutes on each side or until nicely browned.
  • As chicken is cooking, stir together the cream cheese and ranch seasoning in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture over each piece of chicken.
  • Top with the shredded cheese.
  • Place pan in the oven and bake until chicken is fully cooked, about 10 minutes.
  • Top with the crumbled bacon and green onions just before serving.

Here's what you need: chicken breasts, buttermilk, ranch dressing mix, cheese cracker, oil

2 chicken breasts
2 cups buttermilk
1 packet ranch dressing mix
2 cups cheese cracker
oil, for frying

Steps:

  • Chop chicken breasts into bite-size pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, buttermilk, and ranch packet.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • In a large zipper storage bag, crumble the cheese crackers into desired crumbs (to replace bread crumbs).
  • Place cracker crumbs into a medium bowl and coat each piece of chicken until fully covered.
  • Heat oil to 350°F (180°C) and fry chicken until crackers turn golden brown (3 minutes).
  • Place on a paper towel to dry.
  • Serve with a side of ranch or any sauce.
  • Enjoy!

I found this recipe on a low carb website. It was very easy to make. I double the recipe along with the ranch but it was too ranchy. Will make it again but not double the rancy dressing. Prep time and cooking time are an estimate. I started everything and put the oven on warm and cooked it while I went to a movie and when I got home I turned it to 400, added dressing and cooked for 20 more minutes.

4 -6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 -12 slices bacon
1 -2 cup cheddar cheese (I used Mexican Blend and it was good)
1 (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) packet hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup half-and-half
2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Lay out stips of bacon on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees while browning the chicken.
  • Lightly brown chicken in olive oil and place in a 9 x 13 dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Take out bacon and place 2 pieces of bacon over each chicken breast.
  • Sprinkle with 1/3 of your cheddar cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until almost done.
  • While that is cooking mix together the softned cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, and enough halfn-half to bring the mixture to the consistency of ranch dressing.
  • When chicken is almost done, drizzle dressing mixture lightly over chicken
  • then add to rest of your cheese and cook until the cheese is melted and juices run clear.

1 ½ cup mayo
3 Tablespoons minced garlic
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 packets of ranch seasoning mix

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9X13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom of the baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix mayo, garlic, shredded cheese and ranch seasoning together.
  • Spread mayo mixture on top of each chicken breast.
  • Place uncovered into the oven and cook for 30 minutes or until completely cooked through and golden brown on top.
  • Serve immediately.
