VANILLA CHAI PROTEIN SHAKE



Vanilla Chai Protein Shake image

Your favorite chai spices in a healthy protein shake! This vanilla chai protein shake recipe is perfect for on-the-go energy.

8 ounces milk
1/3 cup strong brewed tea (chilled)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon chai spice mix
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds ((optional))

Steps:

  • Pour the milk into the Thermos brand shaker bottle.
  • Add the tea to the milk.
  • Add the vanilla and spices.
  • Add the protein powder and chia seeds (if desired).
  • Place the mixer in the shaker bottle and screw on the cap.
  • Shake for 30 seconds or until the drink is smooth.
  • Add ice if desired.

vanilla ice cream or cinnamon ice cream

Whip up one of these pretty pastel shakes for a casual dessert or any time you finish supper wishing you had made dessert. We suggest Chai Shake after a curry, Vanilla Rum Milkshake after West Indian Red Beans & Coconut Rice (page 69), Pineapple Ginger Shake after Asian Braised Fish with Greens (page 160)-you get the picture.
