Easy and delicious dip! The sweetness of the Major Grey's and the spice of the curry and mustard combine well with cream cheese, and this dip is always a hit at gatherings. Serve with crackers, stuffed dates, or celery. Our favorite dipper is Fritos®.

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup Major Grey chutney
½ cup chopped roasted almonds
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon dry mustard

Steps:

Mix cream cheese, chutney, almonds, curry powder, and dry mustard well. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

1 carton (8 ounces) whipped cream cheese
3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 jar (9 ounces) mango chutney
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup dried currants
Assorted crackers

Steps:

Place the cream cheese, cheddar cheese and curry powder in a small food processor; cover and pulse until blended. , Spread onto a 10-in. round serving platter. Spoon chutney over top; sprinkle with coconut, pecans, green onions and dried currants. Chill until serving. Serve with crackers.

This is a very unusual layered dip. I was unable to get the "secret" recipe from the hostess at a party I attended. She called it California 7 layered dip. This is my version.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 cup peach jam
1/2 cup mango chutney or 1/2 cup fresh diced mango
1 cup raisins
1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1 cup shredded Baby Spinach
3 -4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped
2 green onions, chopped (optional)

Steps:

Blend cream cheese, cheddar cheese and 1 teaspoons curry powder. Layer on bottom of a dish(Pie plate or similar size).
Mix peach jam and mango chutney. Spread this over cheese layer.
Sprinkle raisins over chutney.
Sprinkle coconut over raisins.
Sprinkle spinach over coconut.
Sprinkle bacon over spinach.
Sprinkle peanuts on top.
Option: Sprinkle with green onions (8 Layers).
Note: You could add 2 Tbs. Sour Cream or 2 Tbs. Plain yogurt to the cream cheese layer to make it softer.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

In a medium bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, yogurt, honey and lemon juice until well blended. Whisk in the curry powder, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder; season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
