EASY BUTTER DIPS
Who knew homemade breadsticks could be so easy! Made with six ingredients (probably in your kitchen already), these breadsticks are buttery and delicious. You could jazz them up even more by sprinkling some garlic salt or Parmesan cheese. Serve with a side of marinara and these are going to disappear in a snap. They'd be tasty...

Steps:
- Add the warm water to a large bowl with the melted butter, sugar and yeast. Stir to help the yeast dissolve and let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, or until it becomes foamy on top.
- Add in the flour and salt (optional) to the yeast mixture. Use a mixing spoon to incorporate the wet and dry ingredients until it comes together into a sticky ball.
- Cover the dough with a towel and place in a warm part of your kitchen. Let rise for 1½ hours, or until it doubles in size.
- Remove the risen dough from the bowl and knead on the counter with extra flour until the dough becomes smooth on the surface and no longer sticky.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
- With a rolling pin, flatten the dough until it's about a 7x12 inch (18x30 cm) rectangle, and slice into 12 strips. If you don't have a rolling pin, you can cut the dough into 12 portions and roll each into 7 inch (18 cm) logs with your hands.
- Place the dough on parchment paper-lined baking sheets with cooking spray.
- Brush melted butter and sprinkle garlic salt on the dough.
- Bake the breadsticks for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- When the breadsticks come out of the oven, serve immediately, or cool and store in the freezer for up to 6 months to eat at a later date.
- Enjoy!

BUTTER DIPS BREAD STICKS
Steps:
- Heat the oven to 450°F. Cut the butter into four equal pieces and place them in a 9-inch-square baking dish. Put the baking dish in the oven to melt the butter. This will take about 5 minutes; remove the baking dish once the butter has completely melted. While the butter is melting, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the milk quickly, stopping as soon as a loose dough forms. Sprinkle some flour over a large cutting board or pastry mat. Turn the dough out onto the mat and press lightly into a long, narrow rectangle. Use knife dipped in flour to cut the dough into 12 equal strips. Take each strip and place it in the baking dish, turning each side of the strip into the butter. Repeat with all the dough and place the strips close together in the baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden. Let cool for 5 minutes before breaking into individual strips and eating.

- Position a rack in the center and heat the oven to 450°F. Put the butter in a 9-inch-square baking dish and place in the oven to melt, about 5 minutes.
- While the butter melts, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center, pour in the milk, and stir with a fork only until the dry ingredients are moist. The dough will be soft and sticky.
- Pour the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Gently knead about 10 turns, adding no more flour than is needed to keep it from sticking to your hands. Pat into a long, narrow rectangle that’s about 1/2 inch thick. Cut the dough into 12 equal strips with a pizza cutter or sharp knife dipped in flour.
- Remove the dish from the oven. Working with one at a time, transfer the strips to the baking dish and turn to coat in butter. Nest the strips snuggly together in rows.
