My kids love making these brown bear biscuits for breakfast whenever we go camping. They're super simple and no prep for mom!

Number Of Ingredients 4

¼ cup ground cinnamon
1 cup white sugar
½ cup butter, melted
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough

Steps:

  • Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl. Pour melted butter into another bowl. Separate biscuits and form each piece of dough into a rope 4 to 5 inches long. Wrap the dough pieces around sticks.
  • Hold sticks over campfire and slowly turn until the biscuit dough is browned and set, 8 to 10 minutes. Dip biscuits into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar. Eat biscuits from sticks.

Kelly makes some interesting things, and usually takes them into a camping situation. She posted this one, and it sounds so good I have to go get crescent rolls and caramel! Frankly, you could use a piece of chocolate covered caramel for quicker making! LOL The picture is hers...which started the mass drooling from my mouth!

Steps:

  • fill the crescent rolls with remaining things. Then fold them up so that they are sealed. Bake on foil lined cookie sheets, until crescent rolls are done, then roll in cinnamon and sugar and enjoy!
  • Yum! Note, it looks from her picture, that she used 2 crescent rolls per treat!

I found these online and thought it sounded like a great camping treat. I'll be trying this next time I go camping with the kids.

1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 (8 count) cans biscuit dough

Steps:

  • Mix sugar, cinnamon and butter together until well blended.
  • Take the biscuits and roll in hands to form long snake like pieces. Butter hands first to prevent sticking. Wrap the snake like dough around a stick in a coil fashion.
  • Cook over an open fire until cooked (should appear brown). Roll the cooked dough in the cinnamon mix and put some inside the hole the stick was inches.

These are BY FAR the BEST brownies I have ever tried!! They are easy to make and SO good--way better than the box!!

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup dark cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (11 1/2 ounce) bag dark chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
1 teaspoon oil
14 ounces caramels, unrapped
1/2 cup evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Grease 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Melt butter.
  • Stir in sugar, vanilla and eggs.
  • Stir in flour, cocoa and salt.
  • Stir in 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans.
  • Spread in prepared pan.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes or until done.
  • Heat milk and caramels in small saucepan over medium heat until caramels are melted and smooth.
  • Melt remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips and oil in small saucepan over medium heat until chips are melted and smooth.
  • Drizzle caramel in a diagonal pattern across warm brownies.
  • Drizzle chocolate in the opposite direction over brownies.
  • Top with more chips and remaining pecans. ENJOY!
