Steps:
- 1. Soften yeast in warm water and sugar... for about 5 minutes.
- 2. With a fork add in the bisquick and stir well, turn out onto a floured board and knead for about 5 minutes, or until smooth,
- 3. shape into rolls, I place mine in a greased round pan.. cover with a towel, keep in a warm place and let rise about and hour...
- 4. Brush tops with melted butter, and Bake in 400* oven for about 12 minutes.....Enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. Dissolve the yeast and the sugar in a small measuring cup, and let it stand 5 minutes, then stir in the biscuit mix.
- 2. I use Pioneer brand buttermilk biscuit mix. Make a dough and knead until it is smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes.
- 3. Roll out the dough and cut into round shapes. (You can make other shapes if you wish.) You will get around 20 rolls, less if you make them bigger.
- 4. I use an air baking sheet with parchment paper for best results. (The reason I like an air baking sheet is they don't overbrown baked goods) Place the cut rolls on the greased baking sheet and let them rise until double in size, about 30 minutes or so, and bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. GRANDMA BONNIE'S CINNAMON ROLLS
These are my grandma's cinnamon rolls. A favorite at Christmas or just a Saturday morning.

Steps:
- Combine water, yeast, and 1 tablespoon sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Add remaining sugar, 1/4 cup oil, egg, and salt; mix until combined. Scrape paddle attachment and switch to the dough hook. Mix in flour, 1 cup at a time, until dough comes away from the sides of the bowl. Continue kneading for about 3 more minutes.
- Add a bit of oil on the dough and roll the dough in the bowl until all sides are coated. Cover with a towel and let rise until at least doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- Punch down the dough and transfer to a floured surface. Roll out into a rectangle. Pour melted butter onto the dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon to taste. Add pecans. Roll up lengthwise and cut into 12 rolls. Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and let rise for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bake rolls in the preheated oven until golden brown in color, about 15 minutes.
- While the rolls are baking, combine powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla for topping. Add 1 tablespoon milk and mix to a pourable consistency, adding more if necessary.
- Remove rolls from the oven. Immediately pour topping over top and sprinkle with pecans.

- In a large bowl, mix the shortening, sugar, and hot water. Allow to cool until lukewarm, and mix in the yeast until dissolved. Mix in the egg, salt, and flour. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size.
- Grease 8 muffin cups. Divide the dough into the prepared muffin cups, and allow to rise again until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Steps:
- 1. Combine cake mix, yeast, 1 cup of flour, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in water, eggs, and oil. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer. Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
- 2. Turn dough out on a well floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, {About 5 minutes}. Cover dough and let rest 10 minutes.
- 3. Divide dough in half and roll each half into a 15 x 14 rectangle and spread each half with 2 sticks of margarine and half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture (or to taste).
- 4. Roll up each rectangle jellyroll fashion, starting at long side, moisten edges with water and pinch to seal. Cut each roll into 1 inch slices. Place slices cut side down on two greased 13x9x2 inch pans.
- 5. Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, about 45 min. Rolls will not double in bulk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
- 6. Combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla, stirring well. Drizzle over warm rolls. Yield about 30 large rolls. Enjoy!!!
- 7. THE CAKE MIX: You can use either a white or yellow cake mix. REMEMBER: Don't use a cake mix that has pudding in.
