Easy Vegetable Soup

It only takes 30 minutes to make this comforting and delicious soup packed with carrots, green beans and potatoes in a seasoned beef broth.

1 tsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
clove garlic
1/4 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
3 1/2 c. Swanson® Beef Broth
medium carrots
medium potato
1 c. fresh or frozen cut green beans
  1. Heat the oil in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, parsley and thyme and cook until the onion is tender-crisp.
  2. Add the broth, carrots, potato and beans to the saucepan and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
