- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat 1/3 cup chocolate chips over low heat until melted. Mix melted chocolate, baking mix, nuts, 1/3 cup sugar, milk, oil, vanilla and egg in square 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Beat vigorously with fork until well blended. Coupons Heat water and 2/3 cup sugar to boiling, stirring occasionally; stir in remaining chocolate chips until melted. Pour over mixture in pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean, about 35 to 40 minutes.

This recipe was passed down to me from my mother, written by my maternal grandmother. Although we never met, I feel I know her through her hand written recipes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and vegetable oil. Add the sugar mixture to wet ingredients and stir until combined.
- Cover the bottom of the prepared baking dish with an even layer of the crumbled biscuits. Pour the liquid mixture evenly over the biscuits. Press down onto the biscuits with the back of a large spoon to moisten them.
- Place the 8x8 inch baking dish into a larger high sided baking dish. Place dish on oven rack. Pour boiling water halfway up the sides of the 8x8 inch dish. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until pudding is set.

BISQUICK CHOCOLATE PUDDING
I made this recipe ALL OF THE TIME when I was first married. I think it came from a Bisquick cookbook. It's economical and has a rich smooth taste. I always served it with a dollop of whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon for garnish.

Steps:
- 1. Combine the baking mix, sugar and cocoa in a large saucepan, breaking up large clumps of baking mix. It's ok if some clumps remain.
- 2. Gradually add water and milk, stirring constantly.
- 3. Place over medium high heat and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
- 4. Boil and stir for one minute.
- 5. Refrigerate, put plastic wrap directly on surface of pudding while chilling to prevent film from forming.
- 6. Serve garnished with whipped cream and cinnamon if desired.
