1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
Dash pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 tube (12 ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, separated into 10 biscuits

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup and pepper. Spoon half into a greased 8-in. square baking dish; sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat layers., Place biscuits around edges of dish. Bake, uncovered, until the meat mixture is bubbly and biscuits are golden brown, 18-22 minutes.

1 pound ground chicken
¾ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup sliced onions
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
½ cup vegetable shortening
1 cup low-fat milk
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, garlic powder, and kosher salt in a bowl using your hands; shape into 5 patties about 3 inches across and 1 inch thick.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties in the hot oil until browned, about 5 minutes. Flip patties and add onions to the skillet. Cook until patties are browned on the second side and onions are tender, about 5 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the patties should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Mix flour, baking soda, white sugar, and salt together in a bowl; fold in chives. Cut shortening into flour mixture until crumbly. Gradually pour milk into mixture while stirring with a wooden spoon until dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 2 minutes; flatten into 1 inch thickness. Use a round cookie cutter or juice glass to cut into individual biscuits, pushing straight down and pulling straight up to maintain fluffiness while baking. Arrange biscuits on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 13 minutes.
  • Slice biscuits open and place a burger on the bottom half of each biscuit; top with onion and mozzarella cheese. Place top half of the biscuit on top of the mozzarella cheese to create a sandwich.

1 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp red pepper flakes, divided
1 tsp salt and pepper, divided
6 clove garlic
6 slice onion
6 slice pre-cooked bacon
6 slice pepper jack cheese
2 Tbsp olive oil mayo
1 tsp smoky sweet onion mustard
6 Grand biscuits

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2. Add ground beef to a bowl and add the Worcestershire sauce. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.
  • 3. Add to the bowl 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Combine with your hands.
  • 4. Make six small patties.
  • 5. Cook patties over medium-low heat for 5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  • 6. While the patties are cooking add the six garlic cloves to center of pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
  • 7. Let patties cool slightly on a paper towel with the garlic.
  • 8. In the same, skillet cook the onion until tender, about 4 minutes.
  • 9. Cook the bacon according to the box.
  • 10. Take each biscuit and pull apart to make 12 halves.
  • 11. Use a small class or biscuit cutter to cut the cheese into six circles.
  • 12. Put a piece of cheese on six halves the biscuits.
  • 13. Put a patty on top of the cheese.
  • 14. Cut the bacon into and put a half on top of each patty.
  • 15. Put a slice of onion on top of bacon. Then smash each garlic clove and add to the top of onion.
  • 16. In a small bowl, stir together the mayo and mustard. Add the rest of the salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir together.
  • 17. On the other six halves of biscuits add a teaspoon of the sauce.
  • 18. Grease a cookie sheet. Take the biscuit with the sauce on it and put over the top of the biscuit with the meat on it. Pull top over to the bottom and press to seal around the burger.
  • 19. Cook on greased cookie sheet for 15 to 20 minutes. Extra sauce can be made for dipping.

1 red bell pepper, minced
2 tablespoons garlic salt

1/2 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup lemon zest or 1/8 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon rosemary
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 (4 count) can pre-made refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Steps:

  • Hamburgers: 1-In a medium blowl mix ground beef, bell pepper, dry seasonings and soy sauce. 2-Make four 1/4 lb patties. 3-Grill on medium heat until temperature is 155°F.
  • Cheese Topping: 1-In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, lemon zest/juice, rosemary and green onions. Mix until smooth and all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Biscuits: 1-Place foil on a small cookie sheet. 2-Place 4 biscuits spread evenly on sheet. 3-Bake according to manufactures intrustions until golden brown.
