QUICK SANGRIA
Though this recipe makes a great sipping sangria, you can also make it into ice cubes. Serve sangria with sangria ice cubes, or add the ice cubes to a glass of red wine for a fun twist.

Steps:
- Combine the brandy, sugar and half of the raspberries in a medium saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the red wine, vinegar and cinnamon stick and cook until the wine reduces by half, 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl set over a bowl of ice to chill it quickly. Once the wine is cool, stir in the coconut water, apples and tangerine slices. Discard the cinnamon stick. If too strong, add some cold water.

Steps:
- Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon and orange into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar and brandy. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice. Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, peaches, handful of fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, a shot or two of gin, brandy or rum, a cup of ginger ale, citrus soda pop or lime juice.
SIMPLE SANGRIA
I had a craving for sangria and I found this on about.com. I just clarified the directions a little bit. It's a very simple recipe. Ideally you want to chill overnight but I tried after seven hours (couldn't wait) and I thought it tasted really good. Time doesn't include chilling.

- Chop the orange (leaving the peel on) and apple into bite-sized chunks, then add them to the bottom of a pitcher. Sprinkle them with sugar and stir. Let them stand for 20 minutes at room temperature.
- After 20 minutes, pour in the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and lemon rounds. Stir and refrigerate 1 to 4 hours. (Don’t go beyond 4 hours or the fruit texture starts to degrade.)
- Pour the sangria into ice filled glasses and top with a splash of sparkling water (if desired). Add fruit to each glass, preferable on long skewers for easy snacking.
