Barbecue Bean Chili Dogs Recipes

CHILI DOGS

Steps:

• Add the ground beef to a small pot over medium heat. Let it cook until you see some fat in the pan then add the onion and garlic. Continue to cook until the meat is no longer pink and the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
• Add the honey and chili powder to the pot and stir well. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the honey then add the diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Let the chili simmer on low heat while you prepare the dogs and buns.
• Cook the hot dogs and warm the buns over a fire, on a grill, or in a pan on your stove. When they're ready, put a hot dog in each bun and top with ¼ cup of the chili, 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar, and some green onions. (See notes)

BARBEQUE BEAN CHILI DOGS

Steps:

• In a large saucepan over low heat stir together the barbeque sauce, beans, chili seasoning, brown sugar, and mustard. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• Meanwhile, set up grill or indoor grill pan for direct cooking over medium heat. When ready to start cooking oil the grate. Place hot dogs on the hot, oiled grill. Cook for 10 minutes or until heated through, turning occasionally. Toast buns on grill, if desired. Place hot dogs in buns and top with chili. Serve hot with chopped white onions. BARBECUE HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Preheat a grill to medium. Grill 8 hot dogs, turning, until lightly charred in spots, 5 to 7 minutes, brushing with barbecue sauce during the last minute of cooking. Toast 8 hot dog buns on the grill until marked, about 30 seconds. Serve the hot dogs on the toasted buns with assorted toppings.

BBQ BEAN CHILI DOGS

Steps:

• Heat greased grill to medium heat.
• Bring beans, barbecue sauce and seasonings to boil in saucepan, stirring frequently; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
• Meanwhile, grill franks 10 min. or until heated through, turning occasionally and adding buns, cut sides down, to grill for the last 2 min.
• Fill buns with Singles pieces and franks; top with chili.

BACON, HOT DOGS & BEANS CHILI

Steps:

• Heat a deep skillet over medium heat. Add bacon and onions. Stir occasionally and cook for 10 minutes.
• Increase heat to medium- high. Add water and brown sugar. Stir until sugar has dissolved and the mixture is bubbling.
• Add hot dogs and baked beans, stir and reduce heat to a medium low and simmer for 20 minutes.
