- Preheat oven to 350°. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat pork chops. Place in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Add water to pan. Bake, uncovered, until a thermometer reads 145°, about 1 hour. Let stand 5 minutes., In a large skillet, melt the jelly. Add apples. Cook over low heat until apples are tender, 5-7 minutes , turning occasionally. Serve with pork chops.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste, and arrange in a medium oven safe skillet. Top pork chops with onions, sweet potatoes, and apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Season with 2 teaspoons pepper and 1 teaspoon salt.
- Cover, and bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, until sweet potatoes are tender and pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Heat oil in large skillet. Saute onion in oil for 1 minute, or until tender. Remove onion and set aside. Brown pork chops on both sides in oil.
- Place chops in an 8x12 inch baking dish and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Cover the chops with the apples and cooked onion.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard, cloves and water. Pour over chops. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!

- Mix flour, sage, garlic, thyme, salt, allspice, and paprika together in a small bowl. Set aside 2/3 of the spice mixture for later use. Sprinkle remaining spice mixture onto the pork chops, coating all sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook in the hot oil until browned, 3 to 5 minutes per side. Remove pork from the skillet.
- Add onion to the skillet and cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Add apples; cook and stir for 2 more minutes. Stir in apple juice, brown sugar, and reserved spice mixture; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until pork is longer pink in the center, and reaches desired level of doneness, about 5 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

- Peel, core, and slice the apples.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the butter in a skillet.
- Brown the pork chops on both sides in the butter.
- Grease (or spray) a large baking dish.
- Put the apple slices in the bottom of the dish.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar over the apples.
- Place the pork chops on top of the apples.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 and 1/2 hours.

SIMPLE PORK CHOPS WITH APPLES RECIPE

- Gather the ingredients. Heat the oven to 350 F.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place a baking rack into a large, shallow baking sheet with sides.
- Sprinkle each pork chop with onion powder, garlic powder, and lemon pepper seasoning. Place the cornflake crumbs into a shallow dish, and thoroughly dredge each pork chop in the crumbs, pressing the chops into the crumbs with a fork. Gently brush away any loose crumbs, and place the pork chops onto the baking rack.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the chops are no longer pink inside and the juices run clear, 30 to 45 minutes. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a chop should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
- While chops are baking, place the apple wedges into a large saucepan over medium heat, and pour in enough apple juice to reach depth of 2 inches above the apples. Mix in the cinnamon, allspice, vanilla extract, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook until apples are soft when pierced with a fork, about 30 minutes.
- To serve, place a pork chop in the center of a plate, and arrange apple slices decoratively up one side, over the top, and down the other side of the chop. Drizzle each chop with the apple liquid; serve remaining sauce separately.
