Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the ground beef and ground sausage thoroughly together. You'd like to have a little bit of each in every bite.
- Place your peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, and carrots in a pan, with a little olive oil.
- Once browned, add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes,
- Let simmer for about 5 minutes, slowly add cheddar & salt and pepper, to taste.
- Stir in the cheddar until it lightens your sauce.
- Sprinkle sugar in to taste, until your sauce is no longer tart.
- Add meat into sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Boil water with butter and salt. Add penne once water is boiling.
- Strain pasta and pour into baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar over pasta, then spread sauce evenly over pasta.
- Sprinkle parmesan to cover the entire top.
- Put in oven until edges of parmesan brown. About 20-25 minute.
- Remove and serve.

- Mix together beef, water, seasoned salt, black pepper and parsley. Shape into 4 patties, about 3/4 in thick.
- Coat both sides of patties with flour. Dip into egg, then into crumbs. Brown quickly in hot oil on both sides in skillet.
- Arrange in shallow 1/1/2-quart baking dish. Put a slice of cheese on each patty.
- Pour spaghetti sauce over patties. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
- Bake at 400° for about 25 minute Garnish with parsley.

- Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
- Brown ground beef in a non-stick pan over med-high heat. Set aside.
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F In a large bowl, mix together 6 oz of the grated cheddar with the penne, tomato sauce, red pepper, and beef. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Top with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake in oven for about 30 min, or until bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes. Cut and serve.
