What a totally fun recipe I found on Pinterest and equally tasty. This is perfect food to serve to kids for a party or sleep over or even for adults for their football get together.

Ingredients

8 hot dogs
8 hot dog buns
14 1/2 ounces chili with beans
1/2 cup onion, diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
mayonnaise
mustard
sweet relish

Steps:

Spread the inside of each hot dog bun with mayonnaise, mustard and sweet relish. Fill with hot dogs and place into a 13×9" baking dish.
Top each hot dog with chili, cheese, and onion. Cover with aluminum foil, place into the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Ingredients

1 pkg hot dogs
1 pkg hot dog buns
ketchup
yellow mustard
1/2 large onion, chopped
8 slice velveta cheese (make slices fairly thick)
8 sheet(s) aluminum foil

Steps:

1. Tear sheets of aluminum foil and set aside. Chop onion. Slice cheese (I use the brick style Velveta cheese). Pre-heat oven to 350°
2. Place each hot dog inside a bun, squeeze mustard and ketchup along the sides of each hot dog. Take each slice of cheese and cut it in half, then place it on top of each hot dog. Top each hot dog with chopped onion (I do it this way because it helps keep the cheese from sticking to the foil).
3. Place each hot dog on a sheet of foil, fold foil around hot dog, and place on a baking sheet (I use a pizza pan). Bake for 30 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients

8 hot dogs, chopped
⅔ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons pickle relish
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
3 tablespoons chopped onion
8 hot dog buns

Steps:

Preheat an oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Stir the hot dogs, Cheddar cheese, relish, ketchup, mustard, and onion together in a bowl; spoon into the hot dog buns. Wrap each sandwich in aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven until hot, about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Heat hot dogs according to package directions. Arrange hot dog buns in baking dish, cut side up. Place hot dogs in buns. Top with chili. Sprinkle with cheese. Tent pan with foil.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted.

These are my personal favorite way to cook a hot dog. The skin becomes crisp while the interior remains extremely juicy. They are more on the well done side because that's how I like them. If you prefer them not as well done reduce the cooking time and keep an eye on them. Enjoy!

8 hot dogs
8 hot dog buns
mustard (optional)
cheese (optional)
pepper

Steps:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
With a knife make a slice about half way through the hot dog.
Place on baking sheet.
Cook for 15 minutes until hot dog is starting to curl and browned.
If a browner hot dog is desired turn on broiler and brown to liking.
Remove from oven and add cheese if desired and place back in oven for additional minute.
When hot dog is done place on the bun and add additional toppings.
