BAKED BEANS WITH PINEAPPLE

Steps:
- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towels. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Saute onion in drippings until tender. , In a very large bowl, combine the beans, pineapple, bacon and onion. Combine brown sugar and ketchup; stir into the bean mixture., Transfer to two greased 3-qt. or 13-in. x 9-in. baking dishes. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 25-35 minutes longer or until bubbly and beans reach desired thickness.

PINEAPPLE BAKED BEANS
Pineapple baked beans are delicious for any meal, whether it's a normal family dinner or special occasion.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray the bottom of a 7" x 11" casserole dish or baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. If you're adding liquid smoke, do so now.
- Stir the pineapple chunks and beans into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the casserole dish and bake for 1-1/2 hours.
- Serve hot.
BAKED BEANS WITH BEEF
This is the best baked bean recipe I've ever known. Great with any main dish but more especially with barbeque beef, pork, or chicken. The slow cooker does an amazing job with these beans.

Steps:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion. Cook and stir until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Set aside.
- Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels. Crumble into small pieces.
- Transfer beef-onion mixture and bacon to the slow cooker. Add all the beans, sugar, mustard, and soy sauce. Cook on Medium until flavors meld, about 4 hours.

- Brown and drain meat and onions. Drain pineapple juice and combine with mustard, worcestershire, brown sugar, ketchup in skillet. Boil until thick. Mix beans, meat and onions, pineapple and sauce together in large pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. 1/2 batch will fit into a 9x13 baking dish. NOTE: drain all or some of the liquid from the beans depending on how thick you want the end product to be. If you do not drain at all they will be rather soupy.
PINEAPPLE BAKED BEANS AND BEEF WITH FRIED PINEAPPLE RINGS
Steps:
- In a large skillet, brown the beef. Drain excess fat and transfer to a 5-quart slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, cover, and cook on low for 4 to 8 hours until bubbly.
- To make pineapple rings, beat egg well. Mix in the flour and make a thick paste. Dip pineapple slices in the batter and fry in medium hot oil.
- To serve, place baked beans in bowl and top with pineapple rings.

- In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, bring beans, salt and 2 qt. water to a boil; boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; let stand for 1 hour. Drain beans and discard liquid. Return beans to pan. Cover with remaining water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until beans are tender. Drain, reserving liquid. In a greased 2-1/2 qt. baking dish, combine beans, 1 cup liquid, onion, molasses, bacon, brown sugar, mustard and pepper.
