Chocolate syrup, for garnish
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce coffee liqueur
1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup crushed ice
Whipped cream, for garnish
Grated chocolate, for garnish

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a chilled hurricane glass . Place it in the freezer immediately to allow the chocolate to set up while you make the drink.
In a blender , pour the vodka, coffee liqueur, and Irish cream and blend quickly to mix.
Add the crushed ice and ice cream, then blend until smooth .
Pour the drink into the chocolate-laced glass.
Garnish with a small dollop of whipped cream and grated chocolate.

4 cups crushed ice
2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers vodka
2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers coffee flavored liqueur
2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers Irish cream liqueur
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
½ cup whipped cream

Steps:

In a blender, combine crushed ice, vodka, coffee liqueur and Irish cream liqueur. Drizzle in Chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with whipped cream.

1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce chocolate syrup
Whipped cream, optional

Steps:

Chill the serving glass in the freezer.
Place the ice cubes, ice cream, vodka, Baileys, Kahlua, and chocolate syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Pour the mudslide into the chilled glass. Freeze for 5 to 10 minutes to thicken further.
Top it with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles, if using. Enjoy!

This recipe comes from a bartender at a restaurant on Hamilton Island in the Whitsunday Islands, part of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. There are a few other similar recipes posted to this site. But this one is different by the addition of the creamy, rich chocolate ice cream that gives this wonderful drink that extra shot of chocolatey indulgence that the others are missing. Try it, you'll like it. You can use any brand of ice cream but Haagen-Dazs is recommended because the better the quality of the ingredients, the better the drink.

1 1/2 ounces vodka (Absolut)
1 1/2 ounces irish cream (Bailey's)
1 1/2 ounces Kahlua
1 1/2 ounces cream
1 scoop vanilla ice cream (Haagen-Dazs)
2 scoops chocolate ice cream (Haagen-Dazs)
splash cream, chilled
chocolate shavings (garnish)

Steps:

Begin by crushing the ice cubes in a blender.
When ice is crushed, add the next 6 ingredients (from vodka to chocolate ice cream) and blend for 45 seconds on highest setting.
Pour into tall glass and top with a splash of chilled cream and shaved chocolate. Serve immediately.
