ARKANSAS GREEN BEANS RECIPE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°. Layer the green beans and bacon on the bottom of a 9″ x 13″ baking dish.
• Mix together the brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Stir well.
• Pour the brown sugar mixture over the bacon and green beans. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Alternatively, you can cook this in a slow cooker set to low heat for 5 to 6 hours.
• Serve with a slotted spoon and enjoy!

ARKANSAS GREEN BEANS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the drained green beans in a 9×13″ baking pan.
• Cook bacon in a frying pan on your stove top or in a microwave on a microwave-safe plate until bacon strips are cooked enough to chop into large pieces (they should be done, but not real crispy). Sprinkle the bacon pieces on top of the green beans.
• Combine the brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Pour this mixture over the green beans and bacon. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.

Steps:

• Preheat an oven to 350°F.
• Drain the beans and spread them out on a rimmed baking sheet.
• Place the bacon rashers on a microwave-safe plate and cook for about 2 minutes. Place them on top of the beans.
• In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sugar, butter, and garlic powder together. Ladle the sauce evenly over the beans and bacon.
• Bake the beans for 40 minutes until tender.
