ORANGE-APRICOT MIMOSA PUNCH

We make this punch for our annual Christmas brunch, and everyone loves it! I usually triple this recipe for a bigger crowd and garnish the punch with an orange-tangerine ice ring made several days ahead of time. -Kathy McKay, Acworth, Georgia

Yield 20 servings (3/4 cup each).

Ingredients

1 cup orange liqueur
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups orange-tangerine juice, chilled
2 cups apricot nectar, chilled
1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 bottle (1 liter) club soda, chilled
1 bottle (750 milliliters) champagne or other sparkling wine, chilled
Thinly sliced oranges

Steps:

In a punch bowl, combine liqueur and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Stir in orange-tangerine juice, apricot nectar and orange juice concentrate. Just before serving, stir in soda and champagne. Top with orange slices.

We have served this at parties for over 30 years. I have no idea where I first got it. Just reading it brings back memories of birthdays, showers, baptisms, and Christmas Open House. Rum can also be added.

1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice
3 (6 ounce) cans frozen limeade concentrate
3 (28 ounce) bottles ginger ale

Steps:

Combine Apricot nector, pineapple juice, and concentrate in punch bowl.
Stir in ginger ale.
Add ice ring with lime slices etc.

3 cups mango juice
3 cups passion fruit juice
2 cups apricot juice
1 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup lime juice
1 bottle Champagne or sparkling white wine
2 ounces melon liqueur
2 ounces creme de banane
2 ounces apricot brandy
Fresh fruit, for garnish

Steps:

Combine all the liquid ingredients in a large punch bowl, add ice and garnish with fresh fruit.

1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice unsweetened, chilled
3 (6-ounce) cans frozen limeade concentrate concentrate, thawed
3 (28-ounce) bottles ginger ale chilled
Ice cubes or ice ring

Steps:

Pour nectar, pineapple juice and limeade concentrate into a large punch bowl. Pour ginger ale down side of punch bowl. Stir gently to mix. Add ice.

3 cups canned apricots
4 cups orange juice
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup lime juice
1 cup powdered sugar
4 quarts soda water
ice
fruit slices

Steps:

Put apricots in blender; process until smooth.
In punch bowl, combine apricot mix with juices.
Add sugar and stir well.
Just before serving add the soda water and ice.
Float fruit slices on top.

1 (12 ounce) can apricot nectar
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup apricot puree
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, cold

Steps:

Combine the apricot nectar, thawed orange juice, water and lemon juice in a large bowl.
Stir until well blended.
Add the pureed apricots and blend well.
Immediately before serving, slowly stir in the ginger ale.
