APPLE DUMP CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease your 9 x 13 baking pan with butter or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Add the apple pie filling, distributing as an even bottom layer.
• Pour the boxed yellow cake mix over the apple pie filling. Gently shake or tamp the pan on the counter to spread the cake mix evenly.
• Next, add the melted butter. Pour the butter over as much of the cake mix surface as possible.
• Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45-50 minutes or until golden browned on the top and bubbling around the sides of the pan. Allow the apple dump cake to cool slightly before serving, if desired, for about 15 minutes.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over the top of the apple pie filling and drizzle the melted butter over top the cake mix. Cover the top evenly with apple pie spice. Add pan to the preheated oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the top of the cake is browned. Let cool for a few minutes and scoop out the dump cake and serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

• Pour pie filling into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apple pie filling and top with melted butter.
• Bake in the preheated oven until the top starts to turn brown, about 40 minutes. Cool cake 15 minutes before serving.

CARAMEL APPLE DUMP CAKE

Steps:

• Spread apple pie filling in an even layer on the bottom of the pan. Drizzle caramel sauce evenly over apples. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apples and caramel. Drizzle melted butter evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle evenly with chopped walnuts.
